Referee Training Schedule
The training requirements for high school referee certification and re-certification is as follows:
a) New member referees are required to have previous referee experience and complete the high school new referee-training schedule. This requires 16 hours of formal instruction and includes the entry module 8 hours basic training, and modules 1,2,3 as listed in the member handbook plus complete the written test and take home test and pass the physical test.
b) Returning referees are required to complete 8 hours of formal instruction, modules 1,2 and 3, complete the written test and physical test requirements.
c) Pay the unit association dues, including a deposit for assignor fees.
d) Attend the first member meeting and subsequent monthly meetings. Members who miss 2 consecutive meetings without an appropriate reason (ie on a game assignment, sick etc) may result in suspension of membership and loss of assignments.
Note: USSF and NISOA physical tests will be accepted in lieu of the high school physical test, written documentation of completion the physical test must be provided.

INTRODUCTION TO OFFICIATING - TWO OPTIONS
[New referees only]
1) September 15 - Saturday - 8:00 a.m.
2) October 3 & 4 - Wednesday/Thursday - 6:30 p.m.
[New and returning referees]
1) September 22 - Saturday - 9:00 a.m.
2) October 10 & 11 - Wednesday/Thursday - 6:30 p.m.
3) November 1 & 2 - Thursday/Friday - 6:30 p.m.
1) September 22 - Saturday - 9:00 a.m.
2) October 10 & 11 - Wednesday/Thursday - 6:30 p.m.
3) November 1 & 2 - Thursday/Friday - 6:30 p.m.
